Oh! You pretty things.

Yesterday, I went exploring through Mt Tamborine. I probably blended in with all of the japanese tourists everywhere as I was just taking pictures of pretty much anything. But my first stop, was a lovely little kitschy, retro, inspiring and wonderful shop, known as Kitty's Vintage Kitsch, which I'm fairly certain most of you will have heard of.

I was so excited to finally visit Kitty's shop.

There were lovely radios,

Lots and lots of cute kitties

I was so tempted to buy this.

I LOVE these little teacups. They look so cute and plastic-y but they're glass.

I fell in love with the bakelite blender. It's so perfect, but then again, why do I need a blender?

For weeks I've been looking for a gem iron and I just happened to find TWO here. I ended up buying the one on the right and I can't wait to use it.

Words cannot explain the beauty of this.

My grandmother had these exact yellow and green tins. We still have them at my dad's house actually.

This table was just insanely gorgeous.

More pretty stuff..

Only once I had gotten home, did I notice that amazing blue lamp on the left. (I think it's a lamp)

On my way out I noticed this. I would have to say it's easily the coolest this I saw that day.

Next, it was off to Long St. First, we stopped at a cute little fairy shop, which I wasn't allowed to take pictures in, unfortunately.

Then I went to the cuckoo clock shop...

Then I saw some cute cars, 

I watched flying pigs

And then I met a mouse called Randy.

Mama bear found a pretty shop,

Then she bought a pretty dress.

Then I saw more cute cars,


Then we headed home.

Suitcase Rummage!

Okay, so on Sunday I had a stall at Suitcase Rummage. It went quite well, apart from the wind practically tearing everybody's stalls apart. The weather was ridiculous. Everyone thought it would be a perfect day, until of course the time had come when we were all setting up our stalls and the constant gigantic gusts of wind caused everyones stalls to fly everywhere. But other than that, I earned a bit and bought even more!

She wore a skirt with flowers...

Hello dearies,

Today mother and I went birthday shopping. My birthday is this tuesday and hers happens to be the day before mine, so we figured we should go shopping and buy each other some prezzies. We went to a load of op-shops. Annerley is Brisbane seems to have so many great thrift shops. One of them is a lifeline 'vintage revival' so it has some amazing retro pieces. Mum bought me a beautiful short 70's dress. It's black with white and yellow flowers. Collared and short sleeved. It's a perfect fit! As I was trying it on, I came out of the change room wearing it, to show my sister, and literally everyone in the store swarmed around me saying how great it looked on me. Although there was only about 7 people in there. Anyhow, I also got this super-comfy high-waisted maxi skirt from a vinnies, also at Annerley. I don't actually get either of them until tuesday, but i'm also getting a camera for my birthday so I'll be able to show you both of them with my new camera! But I shall show you some crappy iPhone quality pictures that I managed to take whilst my phone still had battery at the Annerley Antique Centre...

This fringed leather jacket was so great, but it was $99. This one was from Vintage Revival.

This was easily my favourite thing I spotted at the antique centre. 'Twas an antique, fully working dentist chair. It's a shame I don't carry an extra $3500 around with me.

This dress would have been amazing. But I didn't have time to try it on, unfortunately.
